Analog line not answering on BCM50

Hello
We have a BCM50 with just one fax line configured. when I call the number on BCM Monitor I see the call which says Alerting but it never answers. the number is in my NRS too. thanks

Use a test set to check the ATA port and see if you get dial tone and answer internal calls.
If you do not have a test set then just intercom it, if the fax answers then your programming for the line maybe wrong or a dead line.
If it does not answer then its a bad port, wiring issue of fax machine not programmed.
