Analog Line autodials 0, but I don't want it to.

I have an analog phone setup on an outside gate that employess can use to call internal numbers only. Problem is that sometimes when they pickup the phone reciever, it dials 0 without them doing anything.

I can never make this happen when I test it, but I have only tried a couple of times.

If the phone in not on the hook would this cause it to happen? It is the only thing I can think of.

The reason why it's happening is that you have CLS = MNL. Change it to something like TLD etc. This will stop the phone from making a manual call to the operator.

You must remove the FTR HOT D X first!.

I do not have FTR HOT D programmed. This phone is not programmed to Hot dial another number. It is just programmed as a regular phone.

Maybe I will just delete it and create it again.

Sorry!. I'm not thinking straight. To much Cider tonight!. In OTM, just change CLS to DTN or DIP. That should sort it out for you.

xlst should have a trans table next to it if pretrans is on.. do not have a clue why the station dials 0. ftr hot d is missing, but mnl may have that as a default..
cls dtn removes manual

Make sure that the keypad is not dirty or sticky, specifically around the 0 key. It may be staying depressed when the previous caller used it.
