Analog Fax

I have a Option 11c with a mini carrier remote at the carrier remote end Fax machines and modems will not work. Any Ideas?

When you say will not work do you mean totally dead? Can they make calls out from the analog ports?

If the fax can send but not receive U need a ring generator

MCR uses an Option 11 cabinet. Ring generator is built into the AC/DC power supply.

Do any of the analog ports work? How many cards in the MCR, and is your link a full T-1 or fractional?

The analog ports work fine with just a basic telephone. The T1 is fractional and it has 3 cards 1 trunk 1 digital and 1 analog

The T1 is fractional and it has 3 cards 1 trunk 1 digital and 1 analog? those cards have nothing to do with the t1 being fractional.. change 1 of the sets to cls faxa or program your dtr's

LD 13, BUT FIRST GO TO LD 20 AND DO A PRT TYPE WILL BE DTR, IF THERE ARE ANY PROGRAMED THEY WILL SHOW UP.
