Wat's up guys hope u re doing good
We have a hipath v4000 with a ap 3700ip and the problem is when PO operator tries to make a call with a one of two analog external lignes the Po shows a message that this operation not authorised but at the same time the other ligne works and make calls

It could be the number that they are dialing is restricted to them - it could be a long distance or international restriction

I'm not sure if you are referring to analog extensions or analog trunk lines.

If they are phones, compare the settings for the phone that works vs the phone that doesn't, especially paying attention to the COS and LCRCOS entries. If they do not match, make the phone that doesn't work match the one that does.

If they are trunks then make sure the COS settings on both trunks are the same, and also compare the COT and COP settings.

Thanks so much for replying
I guess we are talking about trunk lines here so wat's the AMO that used to verify and make the same settings
Thank u guys for your time i appreciat it

DIS-BUEND; to see your trunk groups. If you know which one you are using you will get its number - otherwise look for a name that makes sense (copper, analog, etc) to get its number.

Then DIS-BUEND:<number>; to see what PENS are in that group.

Then use DIS-TACSU using the PEN number to display the trunk parameters. The first place I would compare is COT, COP and COS. It is important to note that those settings might be different if both trunks are not the same type (like one is ground start and one is loop start) so it would be important to know that. Usually if both trunks are in the same group they are the same type.

I think that will at least get you so you can compare them, and if they are different post your results here so we can see them.
