Hello All: I need some help in understanding and figuring out the best solution. Let me try to give you the scenario. We have 4 analog 1FL's coming in the building. These are being used in a similar fashion as a PVR. Our provider has done some fancy punching down to allow these numbers to apparently function inside the Option 11 and also function separatley in case the PBX goes down. This all works just fine as it all is.

What they want to do is to be able to record those PVR calls only and not the other extensions.
The CMR Logger that we are using has a digital card with 8 ports on it available however when the tech came to set it up he could not get a good signal because according to him, "even though we are tapping into it from the PBX side it is still an analog line".
We tried punching down on TN 5 - 0 as well as TN 9 - 6. Punching down on TN 9 - 6 (Phone tn) would potentially give us recordings of all extensions which we dont want.
I apologize for not having much information, but I do not understand this very much.
Do we need to go with an analog card or as someone suggested, have Ma Bell redirect these 4 to Digital.
Also as a final there are 2 DID's that also have to be recorded. - Are DID's considered digital ?
