I had this situation on the weekend and all is up now but wondering what the root cause might be.
Customer has 3 Analog cards in slot 6, 7, and 8 in Loop 0 shelf 1. There was no dial tone. Card in the other shelve worked fine.
The issue started as an analog line was not working. I disable the TN and re-enabled, no go. Disabled card and re-enabled, same. Swapped cards with one from another cabinet, same. No dial tone on TN of card 6 or 8. Reset MGC, same. Powered cabinet on and off, that worked all good.
On Friday the system was reboot by pressing the RST on the CPPM card and resetting the COTS server.
System is a CS1000E Release 6
any thoughts?
