HI

I have replaced a digital card for a analog one in a opt 11C system (rls 25.15) but there is no dial tone on any port.

I was changed the card (a known working card) and anything happens. If I change the card for a digital one on this slot, the ports works nornally.

When I try to enable the analog card, the system retriebe NPR326 (No response from card. Retry the command). Only if the card on the slot is a analog one show this message.

I don't known what's the problem. Any idea?.

Thank's a lot.

Capipo.

Did you build a unit on the card and then enable the card and check for dial tone?

It sounds like you left all the digital programming in there and just added an analog card. Out all those digital tn's and rebuild as analog 500 type.

stroked5o:

Yes, I build a unit on the analog card, I try two ways to enable the port.

when I try to enable the unit with enlu x x, the stat shows that the unit is enabled (idle) but without dial tone.

If i try to enable the complete card with enlc X, the system after few seconds show me NPR326. Therefore the status shows idle the builded unit and uneq. all others.

I was replace the card for another, but the problem persist.
The problem is present only on this slot and if the card is analog.

Some idea?

When you stat the card in LD 32 how does it appear. Does it have 32 or 16 ports. Alot of times when I would out a digital card in software, the switch would still think it is a digital card slot. The way I fool the system is to program it as a trunk (any type of trunk) and the out it. Dont have to have a trunk card in the slot to do this but it must be vacant (no card). Once I did that, then the system would no longer see it as a digital card. Before doing that, the switch would let me program it as a analog card but as you said NO DIAL TONE. Try that and see what happens

Thanks for you tip!!! It's the solution!.

The system always show me the slot how a analog card (16 ports). I follow you tip and there is no problem now.

I was try to back to digital card and I was build a digital unit on the slot, then I erased it again but this not fix the problem.

Thanks again for you helpfull tip.
