I have a Polycomm analog phone with display. It is part of our DID range and is going through our PBX on an analog line card. It does not receive calling party i.d. information not even the extension calling. When calling someone, it only shows it's extension on the other party's display but no name.

Can anyone tell me what LD in need to be in to configure CNDA and DNDA for a 500 set? What prompts do I need to change or allow?

Thanks,

LOS TELEFONOS ANALOGICOS NO PUEDEN TENER CNDA NI DNDA.
SI CUANDO LLAMAS A OTRO TELEFONO, EN EL TELEFONO DE DESTINO SOLO APARECE EL NUMERO Y NO EL NOMBRE, ENTONCES PUEDES VERIFICAR LOS SIGUIENTES PUNTOS:

- QUE EL TELEFONO DESDE EL QUE ESTAS LLAMANDO TENGA EL NOMBRE PROGRAMADO EN EL LD 95.

- QUE EL TELEFONO DESDE EL QUE ESTAS LLAMANDO TENGA CLS NAMA.

- QUE EL TELEFONO QUE RECIBE LA LLAMADA TENGA CLS ADD CNDA DNDA.

The analog phones can´t be configured with cnda dnda.

If when you make a call, the other party phone shows only the number and not the name, you should verify de following items:
- The phone that you are using must have a NAME, configured in LD 95.
- The Phone that you are using must have CLS NAMA.
- The Phone that receives the call must have CLS ADD CNDA DNDA.

Thanks, my spanish is a bit rusty but I managed to get the general meaning of your earlier response. I checked LD95 and it was not programmed correctly.

Thank Again,

You need to use a feature called Class. If you have the feature books look it up. This feature requires a Class modem card. It may also require a software features and then programming for each analog set you want name display for.
