I'm a newbie to gimp so be gentle...
I'm trying to create an "explosion" effect to a photo where the center 1/2 of photo remains intact, surrounded by the "fragments" of outer portion shooting outward.
That is the best way I can describe it. I'm currently working/researching the filters tools, but if anyone can direct me I would be very greatful.
I did check the Gimp Help and am learning from that, but I think this explosion effect may be a combination of layers and/or filters that i can't figure out.
Thanks for reading this. Thanks more if you can help

Ahhh... I've figured it out.
If anyone is interested in what i was trying to do, I can email photo
