Hello

i had an arabic program, everything is ok with me but at the beginning, to enter arabic letters (from right to left) at any form, i had to switch the keyboard manually by alt+shift, do you know a way that automatically i can go to any field and start printing the data.

thanks,

Try following property of controls (textboxes, editboxes etc.):

hi
i know when i turn the property right to left to be true
the cursor becomes at the right side but still when typing, the letters are english, i want it automatically to switch to the arabic letters (alt+shift)-the right side.

as-salaamu 'alaikum, suha:

What you might need is the KEYBOARD command, which will stuff the keyboard with keystrokes. In your particular case, I don't know if it will work, because ALT+SHIFT is not a character, but a state (no character is generated). But you might try experimenting with it.

You might also look at the IMEMode property; it is intended for situations like this. [sig]
Robert Bradley

<a href= - Visual FoxPro Development
[/sig]

I doubt 'KEYBOARD' command will be able to switch keyboard language. Just because it snds keyboard event to VFP only, it is not 'Broadcast' event that may be ctached by keyboard service and switch language.
I suppose it is good reason to start learning of API... [sig]
Vlad Grynchyshyn
vgryn@softserve.lviv.ua
[/sig]
