Has anyone had the patch for CMS DST done?

What system do you have and how long did it take?

We're being told that it will be 4hrs of hard down time for the patch to be done. This seems a little excessive for a patch install.

We have:

CMS r13
Sun V880

Any information would be appreciated.

Not sure why, but since the DST patch our Lab CMS (SUN 150) r13 has hung twice and I've had to reboot it. Crossing my fingers that the production CMS doesn't start this.

rjblanch, Avaya documentation says that the CMS uses the OS on the CMS to timestamp. The patch is supposed to resolve this issue with the OS and is the majority of time that it takes to patch the system.

The servers that we've done average around 6 hours, including backups. The Solaris update is around 2 1/2 hours. I had a problem with a V13 update over the weekend install Visual Vectors. Other than that they've been pretty much by the book.

I see in the manual DST document for CMS 3v11 the following.

If you elect not to install the DST PCN, Avaya C&SI will make available by 3/5/07 a script that will change the time zone of CMS’s that observe DST and then perform a system reboot.

Anyone know where the script can be found?

Im in the same boat as Lopes1211

When I login to my CMS (solaris 8 w/ CMSv11) and type "date" i get:

Wed Mar 7 09:48:00 MST 2007

im in the CST time zone and it's actually 11:05am. CMS reports appear fine. My audix is set to MST as well - im sure its because Avaya in Denver set it all up, but nothing seems to match our current timezone. Whats going on here?
