Hello,

I'm in use of Networker 6.1 (Solaris 8). It's my intention to change the Browser- and Retention-Policies - that means I'd like to extend both. Unfortunately it will increase the amount of data to be stored. Therefore I'm in need to check the usability of the tapes - installed in the jukebox. Are there enough of them? In order to investigate it, I'd like to assess the amount of data stored in the past. Is there a kind of history-log, I could take a look at? It should be capable of depicting the amount of data backed up daily. Then I could figure out a kind of average.

Much thanks for your help!

hi

you could try to make this with an mminfo-query.

mminfo -r "ssid, name, sumsize, pool, client" -t "1 days ago"

you can change the query 1 days ago with 1 weeks ago or something similar

run

mminfo -q "savetime>1 week ago" -r "name, sumsize" > file

Then add the numbers

Both methods are working fine ... I cheerish your help! Thank you. Bye Sysadv
