- THE GIVEN PARAMETER IS NOT AN ADDRESS WITHIN THE ACTUAL NET SEGMENT
- THE GIVEN PARAMETER DOES NOT FIT INTO THE ACTUAL NET ANYMORE BECAUSE OF

Current SIPCO is default:

CHA-SIPCO:DMCDATA,N,G711;
CHA-SIPCO:SECURITY,N,24,128CBC;

1- Why does this error raises?

2- Is this SIPCO command correct to insert?
ADD-SIPCO:NETADDR=192.168.10.0,NETMASK=255.255.255.0,IPMODE=IPV4,DEFRT=192.168.10.1,CCAADDR=192.168.10.11,CCBADDR=192.168.10.12,SURVNET=0.0.0.0,DHCPV4=N,DHCPV6=N;

SIP settings are configured via the web interface of the HG card, not AMO

Dear thepfy

Thank you for tour replay.
so there is no need to add sipco net address like the command mentioned before?

No, our 4K's don't have the IP set in SIPCO.

SIPCO is added in the XML file used to setup the OS4K initially.

Thank you I found the systems XML file in the SUSE and add the SIPCO comand as required.

Best Regards
Hamid

You've done what? ADD-SIPCO is an RMX command, added on the 4K using Comwin. You don't put it in your XML file. If you've put that ADD-SIPCO line in your firstinst XML, you have corrupted your XML file. Which isn't a problem, just take the line out.

Your post title is misleading "IPDA goes down everyday". You don't have any IPDA. You don't have SIPCO IP addresses added. If you have no SIPCO IPs you have no IPDA. So it can't go down.

Your XML file shows you have a simplex system with IPDA sharing the customer LAN interface (instead of bond0 for customer LAN and bond1 for IPDA). You have both interface types on the same bond (bond1). So you have a physical NIC IP of 192.168.10.2, for both customer and IPDA. Your ipda-lan.cca-ip-address is 192.168.10.11. That is the IP to use in your ADD-SIPCO line (for CCA), which is almost correct, but you specified CCB also, 192.168.10.12, and your system is simplex, you have no CCB, you leave that parameter blank in ADD-SIPCO.

So you can add that line in your RMX if you wish, if you have no IPDA it doesn't matter if it's there or not. The warnings from dis-logbk would disappear, but they don't matter anyway. BP processor needs a soft restart after SIPCO changes.

You should correct your XML though because if you've put that ADD-SIPCO line in it, you've broken it.

"SIP settings are configured via the web interface of the HG card, not AMO" is relevant for native SIP trunk configurations, and even in that case, AMO (CGWB) is still required for config. However, SIPCO is used for IPDA shelves and configures the central signaling IP configuration of the host 4K, it's nothing to do with trunks.

Dear Moriendi
thank you for your kind help, yes the CCB should be clear but I found the SIPCO parameter in XML file and added the AMO SIPCO in comwin.
I found what I needed.

Best Regards
Hamid
