Hi,

I got a regen file that contain lines like that:

M2 1 EINRICHTEN-SBCSU:547309,CMI,1-40-2-51,VLVERB,89,89,7,7,7,7,0,0,NEIN,0,0,,,,,SBDSS1,JA,,NEIN,NEIN,,,,6,,,,,,,,,;

Any idea what does the VLVERB mean? I was not able to find it in the AMO description doc I got.

Tnx,
Benami

It's EXTLINE, used by the SLC cards to call each other.

What does an EXTLINE mean? Should I expect to see a real DECT phone with this number?

I have a few numbers like that (i.e. VLVERB) that are part of an hunt group. What happens if the hunt group number is being called?

No, you don't see a DECT phone with that number.

Extline numbers are the numbers the SLC cards use to call each other. If SLC 2 needs to reach SLC 5 due to a roaming handset, it calls the hunt group for the SLC, the hunt group contains the extline numbers - also called 'prolonging connections' in the documentation. They are created on ports 24-87 of the SLC cards.

Users do not need to call these numbers or even know about them.

Another AMO that I can not decode:

M2 1 EINRICHTEN-SBCSU:795101,CMI,1-7-3-3,BASIS,89,89,7,7,7,7,0,0,NEIN,0,0,,,0,15,,JA,0,NEIN,NEIN,NEIN,JA,NEIN,,,,,,,,,,;

What does BASIS mean? It it a DECT phone?

Tnx
Benami

You know you can change your system language from German to English so you can make more sense of the AMOs (if you are not German). :eek:)

donb01 - Unfortunately I do not have access to this machine. I got a regen file and I'm trying to make sense out of it.
I'm working closely with the documentation, however, it lacks lots of info.

Is BASIS a german term? If so, do you know the English equivalent?

I got many lines like the below, and I suspect they do not refer to real/physical devices.
M2 1 EINRICHTEN-SBCSU:795101,CMI,1-7-3-3,BASIS,89,89,7,7,7,7,0,0,NEIN,0,0,,,0,15,,JA,0,NEIN,NEIN,NEIN,JA,NEIN,,,,,,,,,,;

ADD-SBCSU:795101,CMI,1-7-3-3,BASE,89,89,7,7,7,7,0,0,N,0,0,,,0,15,,Y,0,N,N,N,Y,N;

ADD-SBCSU:STNO=795101,OPT=CMI,PEN=1-7-3-3,DVCFIG=BASE,COS1=89,COS2=89,LCOSV1=7,LCOSV2=7,LCOSD1=7,LCOSD2=7,DPLN=0,ITR=0,SSTNO=N,COSX=0,SPDI=0,REP=0,STD=15,INS=Y,ALARMNO=0,RCBKB=N,RCBKNA=N,DSSTNA=N,DSSTNB=Y,DIGNODIS=N;

If I REGEN an SBCSU record for a TDM/Digital phone (optipoint) the property immediately after the pen could be BASIC. BASIS in german translates to BASE in English, which could simply mean it's an Optiset Basic phone, or ENTRY (the ones that only have 3 buttons and no display). I used to have the German version of the AMO manual because some tech sent it to me as a prank, but I haven't been able to find it so I may have deleted it. EINRICHTEN means "Set up" I would assume that is Add.

This is a TDM/Digital

Code:
ADD-SBCSU:2624,OPTI,DIR,1-1-3-22,OPTIP500,1,20,20,20,20,20,20,0,0,N,0,30,2,,N,0,41,N,,,Y,0,N,N,N,Y,N,,,,,,,,5,,,,N,NORMAL,N,AMERICAN,1,,1,0,,,Y,,,Y,,,,,,,,,;

This is an IP Phone

Code:
ADD-SBCSU:2312,OPTI,IP2,1-3-1-18,OPTIIP,1,20,20,20,20,20,20,0,0,N,0,30,2,,N,0,61,N,,,Y,0,N,N,N,Y,N,,,,,,,,5,,,,N,NORMAL,N,AMERICAN,1,,1,0,,,Y,Y,,Y,,,G711P,,,,,,;

Right after the PEN is probably the Device Family
The 89's are your COS 1/2
The 7's are your LCRCOS values
The 0,0 after the 7's is probably your DPLN and ITR values
The 15 is probably the button table
NEIN means no (N)
JA means yes (Y)

BASE means it is a cordless base station.

They are added on ports 0-23 of the SLC.

There is a small app installed with Common which will translate English-German 4k output.

Moriendi - Thanks !
I do not have access to CAP. Is there a way to download this application? (BTW: What's its name?)

Comwin got autocorrected to Common.

If you install Comwin it installs some other small apps in its directory.

One of them, MML translator, will convert between English and German, and position and keyword orientated.

If you have access to the 4K, you can download Comwin from the Expert Access menu. Or maybe someone has put it on the download site which is used on here, I don't know.
