Amending CPND names (Global)

Hi All,

Just wondering if it is possible to amend the CPND names across the board to change it from capitals to proper format.

E.G all of our phones are like "JOHN SMITH" and would like it like "John Smith" but doing it individually would be quite the ridiculous task.

I don't think it would be possible but thought it would be worth to ask.

Haha - unfortunately i thought that may be the case, i think this can wait until we remove the CS1K

The easiest way is to use a script file to put them all in. I have a Procomm script that does it all.

It would just be a case of having the DN number then the name.

So i guess print out all names in LD 95

REQ prt
TYPE name
CUST 0
CPND_LANG
PAGE
DIG
DN all
SHRT yes

get yourself a nice list, put into EXCEL and separate into 2 columns, DN and Name. Then in EXCEL use the =PROPER(cell) to make your names look as you want them, copy and paste Values in the new name column to get rid of the code, delete the old names column and save as CSV. Then as Firebird says knock up a quick script to push the name changes back in drawing from your CSV.
