Amending a record depending on another table?

Before I start i apologise if this is in the wrong forum.

I am creating a SIMPLE database in access to be used for house rentals. Can someone please tell me how you do the following?

There are 2 tables. One contains house information and one contains rental information. They are linked via relationships. If i select a house address in the rental table i want a field in the corresponding house's record in the house table to change to value from no to yes.

I am afraid I have no idea where to begin so any help would be greatly appreciated.
