Does anyone know whether Win2k will install and run with an AMD k6-2/450?

Thanks,
Microsoft claims the AMD K6-2 vs. Windows controversy was settled with the patches to Win 95 B and C. Are you having problems installing 2000 or is this just a hypothetical question? Either way, post the delemna and see what happens.
Apparently, the Betas had problems running on non-intel chips, and I was curious if this problem was addressed or fixed. I am getting ready to install the Win2k "final" and just wanted to see if anyone had any recent info.
I'll just give it a shot and find out for us all I guess.
Thanks,
We have Windows 2000 RTM running on AMD K6-2 300/350/400/450 and K7 666 without any problems.

Final runs fine on my K6-3/450, but takes a stupid amount of time to boot. Having a problem with my GeForce at the mo though, but I think that's just the nVidia drivers...

Well, Thanks for all input to my original question. Last month I upgraded to a P3-500, and Abit board. No problems AT ALL now.
Thanks to all,
