Has anyone of you ever successfully performed the AMC licensing over the WAN port (ARID, GARID) and can tell me the necessary dependencies and settings?

The background is that no Internet connectivity is provided from the network in which the controller is located. I can't specify a proxy in the MiVoice Business Software, other equipment must also not be used.

The licensing doesn't work with the software installer either, according to Mitel Support this is due to the GARID usage! Or do you have a workable suggestion on how to proceed with future licensing? I am grateful for every hint!

I use a 4G/3G modem for that.
Set the modem as the default gateway and connect your laptop to it and the controller.
This way you can license it. After the licensing you connect the controller back to the network.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

If you are using a GARID then live sync over internet is required or you will be in license violation

I have never found much use for the WAN port.
