AMC and Upgrade to Version 7.1

Newbie question-

We are upgrading a customer (first to 7.1) and during the version upgrade process we need to change the password. Do we go through the AMC to complete that? Thanks.

The password change is done when you "retrieve licenses". This retrieval is done with the software installer tool. You input the Applications Record ID and as long as your PC has internet access the updated licenses and password will be downloaded. The software installer tool will then transfer that information to the system during the upgrade process.

FYI, you will never see the actual password.
