I'm looking to track the high-water-mark [in AR] for individual customers; this is already done natively by accpac with the AMBTBALHIT field. There are certain occasions when it would be convenient to force this number lower [possibly to zero] so that the previous high water mark is cleared and the customer starts from zero or a new lower number.
For AMBTBALHIT to work I expect as part of AR document posting Accpac updates this field appropriately.
If I manually set this value to zero (directly in the DB) will Accpac correctly maintain it (I assume so) and if so under what circumstances, if any, will it recalculate it rather than update it [ie go back to the highest value it was at]?
thanks

Yes, it will maintain it. It's also reset by running A/R Periodic Processing/Clear Statistics.

Thanks Tuba. So I don't have to worry about it recalculating from scratch?
