ACD Task Manager Portable is ready to download in the version 0.8.9.

My website is written in German but there is a good online translation button in the header of the website!

Enjoy the tool and I hope you will like it!

Andre

Have a star - it is always nice with another tool in the tool bag. Looks good so far, will test some more.

Can this connect to a Nuance ASR Server to preform the Speech to Text? And if so any hints, I've been trying to get it to connect to no avail.

Hi,

in fact you can connect to any ASR oder TTS, if the API offers a webservice. Please notice the helpfile in my tool.

I have very good results with the google tts. This is the string you have to insert in my tool in the menu "Options"&"Set Online TTS/ASR"&"TTS Webservice URL":

The google ASR is also great. But for this API you need to register to chromium-dev -> After that you have your own API-key and here is an example for the string you have to insert in my tool in the menu "Options"&"Set Online TTS/ASR"&"ASR Webservice URL":

Greetings

Andre

Thanks Andre,

Great little app!, Nuance I do not believe supports a web service interface. As most people using this tool would also have access to one or more enterprise MRCP TTS and ASR Servers, you might look at enhancing your tool with uniMRCP which is a open source cross-platform implementation of a MRCP client that encapsulates SIP, RTSP, SDP, MRCPv2, RTP/RTCP stacks and provides integrators with an MRCP version consistent API.

I was able to get google kinda working at home (errored on about half of the ASR requests) however at work its blocked by security.
