I have a user who needs to see two groupwise accounts. She currently is set up using proxy rights to toggle back and forth between the two but does not like this method. Is there a way to allow this user to receive email from this second account directly into her mailbox? This way would the notify option work for both?

Thanks
Dan

Not sure exactly what the situation is, but you could create a rule in account1 to forward all mail to account2, although this will show the "sender" as the account1 name. The rule could also automatically delete the mail from account1 once it has been forwarded so that account doesn't fill up with unread mail in the inbox.

Based on the scenario, you may find it helpful to look at using "nicknames" on one account so that the user is dealing with only one account.

Otherwise, it's pretty tough to make life easier than using the proxy button to flip between accounts. I'm assuming there are some important considerations you haven't outlined.

evrsplace,
One work around is to have username2 share all their folders with username1. You can't share the main inbox, so you will need to set up a new "inbox" shared folder, then set up a rule to move any new mail directly to this new inbox shared folder. This isn't all in the same inbox, but you now all the e-mail is accessable from the same account. One problem with this approach, is any sent items or replies will be from username1, not username2. If she needs to reply from the correct account she will need to proxy back for that.
Calendars and address books can already shared pretty easily so that shouldn't be a problem.

Good luck

Chris

If I recall, you can use "delegate" in the rule instead of "forward" to preserve the original sender & subject.
