I've got a customer with a 9608 that has a cochlear implant. They previously had an NEC system and his amplified handset worked great apparently. We switched over to IPO recently and got him part # 700446370 which is an amplified handset for 95xx/96xx series phones but it hasn't worked very well for him. Says he isn't able to hear clearly.
Has anyone worked with any alternatives successfully? I'm looking at some 3rd party handset amplifiers that we can interface between the handset and phone, only downside being that he'll have essentially 3 volume controls at that point. Wouldn't be the end of the world, though.
