alternating swf files

Ok so I have a flash banner I created, so I have the working files and everything. Also I have an swf banner, same size and everything but I do not have the working files.
The client wants them placed as alternating banners on the top of a webpage.
so he wants banner1 to play then at the end of the timeline banner2 play then back to banner1 at the end of banner2 and so on.
how would I go about doing this?

Are they linear timeline playing .swfs, or scripted ones?
