Hello All,
We have sip in house and have purchased some geographical numbers a London and Birmingham No, they are on the same registration as the main line .

My system ? . Dial , Short code goes to an ARS table with.
Code. N
Feature. Dial
Tel no.N"@provider.com"
line groupId.52.Sip

That works fine

What i am wanting to achive is prefix a number dialled with another digit say 7 for birmingham and 8 for london and then send the associated URI for that number.

I have tried setting a system short code
Code. 8N
Feature. Dial
Tel no.N"@provider.com"s0123456789(London Number)
line groupId.52.Sip

I have also tried putting that above short code in the ARS table with the system short code being active and also tried then removing the system short code but neither works...please help.

no - create different URIs for each number in the line, give them different line group IDs (I use the last 4 digits of the number for ease of use) and configure up the ARS, THEN use shortcode to select what number you want to present.

Sounds like you need a good BP ;-)
