Hi,

i just want to know how i setup the following,

two locations - cisco cucm 9.1

when location a want to reach location b some colleagues are using the whole external number

+49 89 4208 xxxx

i want to remove the +49 89 4208 and replace with 4 so they use the internal wan and not the pstn

where can i setup this in the cucm ?

thanks in advance
kind regards

With best regards

Hi Callmaster,

unfortunatly i'm unable to test this, but I think it can be done as following:

- create translation patterns of the numbers including the leading digit for the outside line (0, 9 or something like that).
- I think it's wise to create a separate partition for these translation patterns so there will not be any conflicts with other configuration.
- Now put that partition in the calling search space(s) which are use by the directory numbers. *** Important*** Place the partition above the partition which is used by your route patterns (otherwise a match is found on the route pattern and it will still be routed out over the pstn).

I think this might work.

Silverblade, you are exactly right.
