Instead of giving users the option of forwarding their phones external of the switch, could I create phantom dn/tn or acd that has their cell number already in it, so all they have to do is forward to a 4 digit number instead of 9+?
Just trying to prevent mistaken forwards, as well as unwarrented long distance call forwards.

yes i've done that, just build a maxp 1 acd ncfw to 9xxxxxxxxxxx and let them forward to that..

Thanks John. Can you think of a better way to do this, or will that suffice?

I believe if you can trust the user than use cfxa. you can do this phone by phone.

that's the best way to put control in the switchroom.. sometimes it not a matter of trust. i have had phones forwarded to 9 3 days after the user was on vacation.. the good thing about programing the remote number in the switch is now you can trust everyone that has access to the front door.. i print my cfxa stations twice a month to check for fraud.. i trust the doctors that have the feature but still feel that it is my job to trust but verify..

ignore all the other prompts, takes less then 30 seconds to add.. you may have to check some other prompts (cdb) after a test.

Thanks all. Since I work at a bank trust is not so much an issue as looking like an idiot if something happened. There is enough fraud (spoofing, customer id theft) that the bank deals with, I didn't want to add to the problem. I have already added a few queues, and just may keep that route as we are not a huge bank and I have plenty of acd's to spare.
