Hello Sage 300 Gurus...

I want to create an Alter Style Subclass view to add 2 new key fields to Orders Header view...
The new view was created using Tutorial. Now newly added fields are being displayed in View Doc, but they are missing from MS SQL table.
Can anyone share a sample completed code? Or tell me what i'm missing?

Thank you in advance.

You cannot add fields to any existing view.

Thank you for your fast response, but it is not the answer i needed :)

There is a view type, called Subclass (Override/Alter/Join)... So, Alter style subclass views are designed to add custom fields and keys to almost any existing views...

Anyway i got an answer to my question by myself, i was not calling viewCreate() method in activation .dll.

You should be asking these kind of questions in the DPP forum, this forum is and end user forum.
