Alteon Switched Firewall Accelator

Hi,
We have New Alteon ASF 5300 ver 2.0.3.
I have connected using the console cable and the problem is that i am NOT able to get the /cfg at all.

Hence not able to configure the switch.

Could some help me out on this.

If not check your terminal set up.

Yes i get all the other Menus with the console connecttion i.e
[Main Menu]

info - Information Menu
stats - Statistics Menu
oper - Operations Command Menu
boot - Boot Options Menu
maint - Maintenance Menu
diff - Show pending config changes [global command]
apply - Apply pending config changes [global command]
save - Save updated config to FLASH [global command]
revert - Revert pending or applied changes [global command]
exit - Exit [global command, always available]


As u can see...i am unable to get the cfg menu at all.

ASF is configured via the Director (SFD) and not the Accelerator (SFA) where that console output is from.

Connect the console to the Director and try again.
