Alt-x How to? 1

I'm pretty new around here, but have been browsing and searching for a few weeks and gotten some great information.

I've run into an issue where I need to run some commands, but none of the users seem to have the right permissions and if I understand correctly, using the Alt-x method to login grants me god-mode. My only issue is I have no idea how to use this method. Anyone care to share how this is done? I kind of need this asap if possible.

What is the Software and Version?

It is Aloha POS and version 6.1.9.

I ended up calling support to get this issue fixed, but still don't have the access I need if this were to arise again, so I would still like to figure this out.

Alt + X
password is the letter corresponding to the last digit of each set of numbers 1=q, 2=w, 3=e, 4=r, etc.

top left last digit
top right last digit
bottom left last digit
bottom right last digit
