alt tag problem with JavaScript on Mac

I've got an image tag like this:

<img src=&quot;whatever.gif&quot; alt=&quot;View Invoice&quot;>


The alt tag provides a tool tip like message over the icon. It doesn't work on the Mac.

Any ideas?

Don't use a Mac?

Seriously, the Mac isn't much of a internet computer. I've heard and dealt with many complaints about things that don't work on a Mac. My boss finally told me that he decided we aren't even going to try to deal with those issues any more. It was taking too much time for too small a number of people. Tracy Dryden

Actually the correct tag is <img src=&quot;whatever.gif&quot; alt=&quot;View Invoice&quot; title=&quot;View Invoice&quot;> and PC's INCORRECTLY will show an alt tag on mouseover...
This is a Microsoft issue not a Mac issue.
