This isn't exactly an HTML question, but a browser question. Is there a way to alphabetize the bookmarked sites on the "Favorites" menu? I've look all over and haven't found a way. Calista :-X

I know it's a pain to do it for lots of folders, but one way is to click on Favourites, right-click on a folder and select sort by name

Thanks! Does this mean you can't do anything with the ones that are not in folders? Calista :-X

This doesn't work for me - ie5.5 Sp2 under Windows 2000 Professional.

I just discovered that if you click on "Favorites", and right click on any line that does not contain a folder, you can sort by name.

jkmitchell, I'm not sure why it's not working for you. I have IE 5.5 running under Windows NT 4.0.

Thanks, everyone! Calista :-X

Hi Calista,

Sorry, it works when clicking on the Favorites manu entry as you say. I was clicking on the Favorites button (between 'Search' and 'History'). True to MS standards the rightmouse menu doesn't have a sort by entry.

Cheers
