Hi All -

We currently don't use Aloha for meal breaks but would like to. (Paper sign-outs are getting to be an admin mess)

I'm a bit confused as to how to set this up. When I check the 'Allow unpaid break' in job codes the meal break and other options below are still grayed out (perhaps a refresh is needed before they are available?). Also I don't have any of the break items checked in system->labor either

What I ideally want is a min 30 minute unpaid break that has to be clocked in and out for tracking. Effectively an 8.5 hour shift with 30 minutes unpaid.

What steps do I need to take on the BOH to set up an unpaid break and enforce its time limits? I'm assuming I need to add the Break In/Out button to my FOH...

Thanks!

I'm on 6.1...

Got it figured out, had to check a box in the system->labor->clock-ins which enabled me to set the enforce 30 min. unpaid break.

Thanks!
