Aloha Upgrade 6.2x - 6.5.31 - Help

Hello Everyone!

I am a former Aloha Tech. (I left shortly after Radiant took over)
I still help a handful or so of old customers that request me.
This site is 6.2 and we are going to 6.5.31. I've recently upgraded a site form 4.2 (damn i miss that version) to 6.4 and it was a great success. (aside from boh security level hell)

So I took special care to make sure VC++, Hasp(4.98) and .NET were on the latest version. Upgrade process went pretty smooth.
BUT -
CTLSVR and EDCSVR were not starting. After double checking user accounts and password for these services I manually unregistered and re-registered the services. No Dice...
So I took a look at the debout for the server and found this:

I'm no rocket scientist with debouts (never was nor do I think I have to be ) But I see it says that they are only authorized for v6.2 - and now looking again I see it is saying "the service is already running" but I think its talking about rfs.

First thing I thought is they need new key #'s
I have been in contact with their dealer and was told that there shouldn't be a need for new key #'s with this update and that sounded right to me because this upgrade is in the 6.x version range. Never the less I told them I needed to check the key #'s just to eliminate that as the problem. I should be hearing back from the dealer on that before tomorrow.

I've rolled them back to 6.2 for the time being.
So I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before, or if someone here could slap me in the face and tell me what I missed or did wrong.

Each 6.X version needs a new license key
to go from 6.0 to 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 etc.You will have to purchase a new Software license. As I always say 'Thats Aloha'
