Hi,
I was an Aloha Tech for many years (5.0 certified). My current employer has decided to buy a restaurant and take advantage of my previous, extensive Aloha knowledge.

We purchased Aloha 6.5 from the local dealer and I built a server and mustered up my memory to get BOH installed. No problem! I've got my database all programmed so I am ready to hook up my terminals, they are just clean installs of XP Pro on 17" Tekvisions TSs. My issue is, I don't have the term install executable but back in my day, I don't think we needed that. Is it a must? Can I do it all manually? If so does anyone have the steps out there? The term install isn't on the burned Aloha CD the dealer gave to me. Is anyone willing to share the file?

All help appreciated.

It doesn't look like the dealer wants to give me the FOH software... Is the terminal setup normally on the Aloha BOH CD?

They also want to charge me to give me user rights to the BOH that I just bought...sigh I miss Alt. X.

Thanks coorsman, I was able to get them to give me full access!! It just took a nasty letter and a threat LOL. I have worked for several dealers and I can't imagine any of them doing that to a client but all is well now and I thank you for the term install!!
