I had an electrical fire in my Aloha POS server. Initially I thought only wiring was damaged that connected the hard drive to the mother board, but upon further investigation I found I'd have to replace the logic board on the Aloha server hard drive. My local Aloha dealer refused to assist me with helping because I wasn't paying their $1,500/year help desk fee because in 4 years I had never called the help desk. The only way they would help was to build me a completely new Aloha server but they were going to charge me the same price as my initial install. I decided to take my business elsewhere and have switched to a Micros platform.

The only issue I know have is that I can't look at any of my past reports for the 4 years that I had Aloha. I would like to setup an extra PC with the aloha software and my the hard drive from previous Aloha server so that I can look back at historical data. I was running version 6.2 of Aloha. I'm curious if anyone has an install CD or the appropriate files I could download so that I could setup this Aloha server to retrieve detailed reports of my previous 4 years of business?

I noticed your cd list also mentions you have documentation available. Any tips or guides to the install process you have would be greatly appreciated. I was able to recover all of the files from my previous Aloha server hard drive, but none of the .exe files will run. I just need to get the system to the point where I can run reports to access my old data.

Looks like the only thing I need is the install for Aloha Back Office

6.2.19 CD

Backoffice CD

Some install Docs

You should only have to install Aloha Manager on the 6.2.19 CD to view your reports, Backoffice is for Takeout, Inventory, etc. The proper files need to be registered for the executable to work, it's easier just to run an install to do this. After installing Aloha Manager from the CD, then replace all the DATA/NEWDATA/Dated folders with your information from the previous server. Run Aloha Manager with the /remote command - Aloha Manager shortcut target - "D:\ALOHA\BIN\AlohaMgr.exe /remote" after the install, that way you don't have to worry about the HASP key if you're just running reports.
