Aloha Supress signature line for checks under $15

I need to supress the signature line on my credit card receipts for checks under $15. Anyone know how to configure this?

I don't think this is possible to configure it to this level of detail.

It is possible but you have to upgrade to 5.3.26e(enhanced). No Gold versions have it yet. Contact your local dealer and I'm sure they can upgrade you to that version. To set it up, you have to go into store settings, under the credit card group. Under the options tab you will see where you can input the signature ceiling limit. Then you go into your specific credit card that you want to apply it to under tender maintenance and check the "apply signature limit rule".

Hmmm.. I have 5.3.28 gold, is there an enhanced version of that or would I have to 'downgrade'? Would that be possible or would it wreak havoc?

Sadly on 5.3.28 gold I don't have a signature ceiling limit option! Any idea when a feature from 5.3.26e will make it into the gold release?

There is 5.3.28e(SR-1) and 5.3.31e. Both of these will work fine for you.

I was told if I switch to enhanced I always have to stay with the enhanced release, it is a different install, not an upgrade? Is that correct?

That is correct, but there aren't any differences on operation, only enhancements. I never install enhanced unless they want a feature that is included in enhanced. You CANNOT go back to gold if you install enhanced(according to Aloha, but I have done it a couple times). The bottom line is that enhanced works just fine, you just have ALOT more options and can get confusing.

6.0 is coming soon. It will tie 5.3g, 5.3e and 5.4 into one release so we won't have to worry about 2 releases. But Radiant has been good in keeping up with a gold and enhanced release every month for bug fixes
