This issue has me stumped and any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Setup:
ALOHA BOH is running on a HP Proliant server with Windows Server 2003 R2.
There are 2 NICs in the server, one connects router(HP NC110T) and the other connects to the FOH(HP NC373i).

Issue:
Randomly the BOH will lose internet connection causing the EDC to run in offline mode. If I repair the connection in the taskbar, then the internet comes back online and anything processed offline will resend to be approved.

I've already tried multiple things: replacing the NIC, different router, different modem, assigning a static IP, I have even changed the ISP. None of this has resolved the issue. From what I can tell it seems that connection is actually dropping on the server and not at the router, but there is nothing in the event log that points to a problem.

How often is random?

Is the internet card on static IP? If not then your problem could be the IP lease expiring if it is set to obtain.

Is it Broadband or DSL? If it is DSL make sure all the filters are correctly installed or I would reccomend a dedicated DSL for best stability. Still, below standard phone wiring could cause issues.

Thank you for your reply,

The IP is set to a static one.

By random I mean that the connection loss happens at least every two days, but has happened multiple times in one day.

It is a business cable connection, which is the same setup as some of my other facilities that are working fine.
