Aloha Security Levels

You will need to call whoever is incharge of your support issues, local dealer or in-house IT people. Have them build a user that has full access to everything you need. Sorry, but dealers can manipulate the passwords to keep people out. Maybe it is just your code that doesn't have access.

How to bypass ALOHA’s Security
How to get into the ALOHA system thru all passwords:
To start it up out front for STANDALONE MODE:
When a terminal wants to take over the floor, run 'redundant' so to speak, it displays a button 'Make FileServer'. If you press it, it wants a password. The password is the sum of the two numbers that appear at the bottom of the screen.
How to BYPASS PASSWORDS:
Launch Control OR Maintenance (This is where you change rate of pay, enable privileges like deleting checks and all payroll functions.
Go to Login.
Before typing anything, press Alt-X.
4 sets of numbers appear.
Use whatever username you want, it doesn't matter.
Start with the number at the Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, and Bottom Right when typing in your 4 character password
Your password is the letter that corresponds to the last digit of the four numbers. 1=q, 2=w, 3=e, 4=r, etc. (the letter below the number on your keyboard).

Of course it isn't a super secret, those passwords are there only to serve as a master number in the event some assistant manager goes in and deletes all the assigned security levels and locks everyone out of the system, which is now possible, since you have no idea who you have given this info too. Yes it happens. I have seen managers go in and give themselves a new number because the staff has learned theirs and deleted their old user number, but didn't bother to assign themselves a security level and they were the only one who had access to payroll. Now they can't. Also, a dishonest person could use that info to get into an area that they were restricted from and do things that could cost the business money.
