Is there anyway to get POSiTouch's overtime report set up, with aloha?

Or somehow set up a custom report? I have a some programming exp, not much but I can learn fast.

I also read something about logutils, is that a rep tool or is it available to customers?

All we need is realtime reporting and so far from what I have read, its almost impossible with aloha? Has anyone been able to do it?

It is not impossible with aloha it is a bit harder as you have to grind every time you want to view. There are a few sketchy programs out there but Pulse is a enterprise application from NCR and you can have realtime updates on your phone or tablet. If your just looking for a report every now and then use Command Centers report viewer just make sure the BOH has someone logged into it before you try to pull a report.

Thanks for your reply.

Are there any substantial differences between Pulse and Avero?

A perfect example of what I need and what Aloha does NOT do - is: Labor %, Per Department, Per the current Day. (You would think this would be a POS standard...)

Ya tell me about it I am a specialist for a large Help Desk and get why wont my POS give me detailed labor constantly. I see you have 3 options

Avero is a very good program as well. I Have had some clients use that only bad thing a LOT of company's will refuse to support 3rd party apps and i have never interacted with their HD so I don't know the support/cost.

There are a few thing out there that do what you want but not in real time like you want as they usually import once a day. You can get grinders and imports to do them automatically on a interval basis IE once every 5 min it would grind/import. SO Menulink or Ctuit would do the report your wanting but not on the fly without user interaction or waiting until the next grind. They are both cloud based and could do from any PC.

The only other thing you could do would be to Create a Crystal report that took your rev center (assuming rev centers are your departments) per day part/day and do the math for labor percent from current sales. Again the grind would have to be run and would not be true real time.

Outside of that realm I would not be sure I know there are hardcore programmers who make Com interfaces to talk to aloha but those are those sketchy programs I was talking about and I just don't trust them.

Heard.

Thank you very much for you help - I really do appreciate that.
