Aloha Radiant 1520 terminal not reading card, but other 1220 terminals will.

Having a problem with Radiant Terminals that are 1520s not reading loyalty cards with data on track 2. Other 1220 terminals will read the card, but unaware of the difference. Even when testing in the opos drivers nothing shows up on the 1520s. Has anyone had a similar experience? We did get these wholesale from a chinese supplier so Im not ruling out the card as the issue but just think its strange it seems to be working on one kind and not the other...

Does the 1520 have problems with magnetic cards in general? Can you swipe a credit card on it and pay for a check?

Yes, I think it might just be the cards themselves. They dont seem to swipe at like 70% of the terminals.

I end up using old casino cards as emp cards. Old hotel key cards also work very nice. If credit cards always swipe fine, I would point to the cards you have as the issue and not the hardware.
