Hi Everyone,
I'm new on this forum but I do need some help!
I recently upgraded our server to windows xp and aloha 6.2.
I Got everything running except the video portion of our system.
It appears that aloha is not talking to the qsr units.
I am not using kds from qsr just trying to get the basic aloha interface working. I must be missing a parameter somewhere either in the aloha.ini or in environmental variables.
For the life of me I can't remember what that variable is.

I have both qsrsock.dll and the xml files but nothing is coming up on the screens.
Thank you

Hi Knectech,
The aloha.ini USEMONITOR=TRUE
I think I'm missing the port setting for the RDS.
I referred to the qsr manual but no mention of where I would put port number 8300?
Does it go in the ini and what is the string for environmental variables?
RDSLOCALPORT?

Still stuck...and yes the key is licensed for video+mx.

You're IBERCFG.bat file on the terminals would be what is needed to call the QSR Video.

Did you reimage the terminals as well?

Usually IBERCFG.bat will call the following:

Set QSRVideos=Native
SET QSRVideo=1,2,3,4

you would also need to install the QSR/KDS software on the terminals.

No but I did do a term install because they had old software on them....
I will try adding those to the ibercfg and see what happens.
Thank you for your help.
