Aloha POS terminal wont install trying to install VBOINST.EXE

Had local NCR office setup a Server and copied the database from an existing site for a new site.

When I install the terminals they worked fine in the lab, then at EOD they now come up and go into a reboot cycle of updating vboinst.exe.

two hours with support and he was not any help. Then I saw in Tek Tip that this is a gift card issue.

I have unistalled the stored value from the server, changed the aloha.ini for giftcards=false.

I still get the error.

This site will not be using gift cards?

any thoughts

When the foh reloads, Do they log off and on or reboot. When new gift program loads it needs a reboot for 1 of the patches it installs.

It constantly reboots, each time it does the upload and then restarts
