Aloha POS Shutdown Problem When Repeating Item 1

I use Aloha and when a Martini is entered with modifiers all is well and good. If I repeat the item, the POS workstation shuts down. It does this on every workstation (we have 15) in which a Martini is repeated. Any suggestions?

Which version of Aloha are you running?

This sounds like a bug and is probably fixed in a later version.

Is it just the Martini??

If so, give it a new item number, assign the new martini item to the submenus, and don't use that one anymore and move on.

Delete the *.CDX and *.TDX files in the aloha\data and \newdata folders they will be recreated. They are the DBF index files and can become corrupt. Deleting them off the server and refreshing the terminals will usually fix this kind of problem.

Thanks to everyone, I deleted the item and reentered it as a different item number. Worked fine.
