Aloha POS Add an additional terminal

Is it possible to add an additional terminal to my system?

Version 6.1
Currently have 7 terminals running.
Key says licensed for 6 terminals.

When i go into Aloha Manager and add a new terminal I get:

"Only authorized for 7 order entry terminals"

Just curious if anyone has had success in doing this?

Aloha in licensed on a per terminal basis, so if the license key is only for 6 terminals you can only have 6 terminals registered in the system. You post said you were running 7 terminals already?
But I think you meant that you were going to add another terminal. Your dealer would have to get you an updated license key to support an additional terminal.

The dealer should take care of the install and update the number of terminals in the iberconfig.bat file.

Just to make clear.

I am currently running 7 terminals. My key says 6 terminals on it.

Just thought it was strange that the key says good for 6 but I have 7 running fine.

The new terminal will make number 8.

Like many others on here my local dealer is poor at best to deal with.
