Hello all,

i have an realy strange issue with Aloha 5.3.9.
unter Payments/Tenders i have only
1 cash
2 amex
3 visa
4 M/C

on all terminals i have:

1 1$
2 5$
3 10$
4 20$
5 50$
6 100$
7 visa
8 master/c
9 discovery
10 amex
11 house ACC
12 Giftcard

i am not able to change anything in the tender Database, i know that the database is corrupt, tried to repair the Database with removing all the index files and run an upgrade database. Any one know this problem and how to resolve it?

thank you
Robert

Try going back to a previous dated sub and replace the tdr.dbf in newdata and replace it with an older one

Do the buttons work? It could be a tender.bmp file in the bmp assigned to the buttons but the buttons wouldn't actually work.

Coorsman is correct, each terminal holds its own bmp folders that are not updated from refreshes.

Hi all,

the buttons are working fine at the workstations, the funny part is that only 1$ 5$ and 10$ are in the tender DBF.
if i change here something Aloha will crash after the refresh. Could it be that the part for TDR is corrupt in the SQL Database? If so, is there an way to Edit The SQL Database?
My Opinion is the SQL Database is making Trouble in my case.
If i right understand Aloha, the DBF information getting written in the SQLl Database and read out of it back to the DBF Files.
If i put an Empty tdr.dbf in the newdata directory it will change nothing, even on top while editing it says " do you want to reactivate the former entry " in that case i hit no but it wont let me save the new entry.
Hope anyone can understand my terrible English....

Robert

Rename the tdr.dbf file in newdata

Try copying a tdr.dbf file from a time (dated subdirectory) when you now it worked.
delete the *.tdx and the *.cdx files in the nrwdata subdirectory.

Open Aloha manager and check the results.

Aloha does not use SQL for the database it uses it to update sales
