The managers of my company use the Aloha BOH for excel and few other things. My aloha dealer said that working with a restricted account is someway difficult to work and required that the administrative acccount be logged in. Since i cant change the password is there is a way or software that can hide or block the local C:\aloha folder? but still allow the terminal to connect in the sharing enviroment?

Network logins are used for going in and out of redundancy, and spooling. Those are some of the largest selling points of Aloha.

The computer does not have to be logged on as an administrator for Aloha to work. Only the services. Create a user, we use AlohaSVC, give it admin rights and a password, go to services and set Ctlsvr and edcsvr to log on with that account and password. Now users can log on as non admin users and not effect Aloha.
