Hi!

Anyone have a image (.wim or otherwise), of a clean HD Aloha POSready2009 P1220?

My terminals got corrupted, want to do clean installs all around, neglected to save coormans image he had uploaded before.

Thanks!

John

That would be great as well, thanks!

I finally had some fast upload bandwidth, thanks to T-mobile 4g LTE. My upload speed was 10 times faster than my home internet.
Here is the image I have used for the 1220. Its a simple ghost file. I have it on a bootable USB stick and can usually image a machine in about 10 minutes.
Best to put the thumb drive in the usb closet to the nic. For some reason that one is faster than the others.

You can find many free tools to make bootable usb with ghost, all free on line.
I like rufus for making bootable usb copy this image to a folder on disk. I like using !mage as name so its the first folder listed
Here are the ghost files you need. make your bootable disk with dos. at command prompt type ghost.exe
use your keyboard to navigate around. no mouse drivers installed

This is a Windows Pos ready 2009, just about the same as Shanes but a bit easier to work with out in the field. The desktop has shortcuts for both terminstall or RAL. If you create a new profile you will need to run the Rad3mfixorentation.exe found in the microtouch folder. Failure to do so will result in touch being off 180 degrees. Only needs to be run one time.
Also installed
Epson Opos software
Epson upload logo software
Epson Netconnect
Bootdrv is shared
There are no group policy settings left over from previous venders.
VNC 4.3 no password
Windows user Aloha - hello
Nothing in startup
Computer name is term
Back 2 line pole display will work in Opos. the opos name is something 1220.
I believe nic is dhcp or 192.168.1.101 forgot. have not had to make an image since I moved over a year ago.

If you use this image and have any questions about it, reach out to me from my website below.
If you find this image useful, How about marking as a great post.
