ALOHA networking issue?

I am probably a few levels under any one out there but I am hoping for help anyway. I have used several threads here in the past to solve aloha issues I have encountered. With that being said there was a power surge today and I have not been able to get back up since. I am running on XP on all 5 terminals and the BOH. I had a similar issue last week when only one computer went down after a surge and it was as simple as an ip/release than ip/config and all was well again. Two of my terminals were showing that same file server error 0x23 after the surge so I did the same on those and then reset the routers and rebooted all the terminals and BOH and now that issue is gone but all terminals stop with message system is stopped waiting for permission to resume. I will post the debout from one of the terminals, let me know if there is anything else you need. Also, on a side note I have received conflicting information to the question of whether all terminals and BOH can be set to find IP addresses automatic or whether they should be manually set. (The last person to do our tech work was a complete idiot)

fixed.....but I would still like to know which way it is better to hazve the IP manual or automatic in terms of having these problems so frequently....

Using a DHCP server on the BOH is nice, but does have it's downfalls. I used to have a couple hundred sites on DHCP, and without getting into the whole explanation of the pros and cons, bottom line: just stick to a static ip on all devices.

Thanks. So I thought everything was solved yesterday but right before I left I realized that my video screen (expo line) and the kitchen window printer were not working. I rerouted the printer to an alternate site in the kitchen but can not figure this one out. This is part of the debout from terminal 4 regarding the printer status:

also ran the self test all the info on the serial interface is correct except that it says offline or receiver buffer full for handshaking operation

I try to go in and uncheck the FIFO but it keeps telling me I don't have permission to change the registry and therfore can not access advanced functions.

Any help on how to get the video monitor and kitchen printer back on track would be appreciated!
