Aloha modifier chit printing

We have recently changed our pub's concept, which meant that I had to go into Aloha and enter every menu item, modifier, ect. to reflect the new menu. We were a 90% Alcohol/10% Food setup before, and now do almost all food. So I have never had to deal with modifiers before. Considering that I have very little experience with aloha manager, I was pretty proud of myself that I have managed to get everything to work pretty well. Outside of this one thing that has baffled me. All of our modifiers, cheese, dressings ect. print at the bottom of the kitchen chit, rather than under the item that the modifier is designated to. The only modifier that prints correctly is the burger/steak temps. I've compared the settings on the temps to all the other modifiers, and they are the same. Any insights on why this is happening, or how to change it would be very welcome! Thanks in Advance!!!

Are you using modifier menues - maintenance - menu - modifiers?
add the items as an item in there.

Yes. I started by adding each modifier item into the items list. giving each a price and description. Then went to the modifier groups and created a group for each menu item, placing the appropriate modifier items in each group. Then went to the entrée items and chose the corresponding modifier group under the mod tab. The burger and steaks temps are the only one that actually prints under the item, the rest print at the bottom. very irritating! lol

Is "Print Independently" flagged in item maintenance for the modifier items?

Yes, "print independently" is checked on almost everything. The steak temps that are printing correctly as well as the rest that aren't.

86 Print Independantly on all modifiers except those that you want to have print as if they are separate items. (ie. a steak comes with a house salad and you want the salad to not print as a modifier for the steak but as an item itself possibly even to a different printer...)
